Obituary of Mary Eileen MacDonald

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Mary E. MacDonald on October 9, 2022, at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born February 20, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Vera Allen and the wife of the late Clarence MacDonald.

Mary is survived by her sons Stephen (Susan) and Richard. She is survived by her grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Russell.

She enjoyed going to dances and drove a school bus for a few years.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, October 17, 2022, from the Brenan’s Chapel beginning at 1:30 PM. The interment will take place in St. Barnabas Cemetery. Donations in Mary’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
