Very saddened and shocked to hear of David’s passing and my heartfelt condolences to Linda and her family on their tremendous loss. I had known David for close to fifty years and practiced with him at Coopers & Lybrand and later at Casey, Ashe and Bishop. He was a leader and consummate professional and always a pleasure to be with. Although his professional practice demanded much of his time, his love and devotion to his family always came first. I will miss him but feel blessed having known him.

Dave (and Frank) were my first managers at Coopers & Lybrand between 1977 and 1983. Both were incredibly influential in my career development and this has allowed me to go on to have a very successful career and life. I remember Dave teaching me a lot about technology in particular and I fondly remember sharing great times on the road and sharing his passion for golf on a few occasions. I am so very saddened to hear of his passing and i will hold he and his family in my prayers. Dave was truly one of the great ones and I am very lucky for having know him and for having his guidance and friendship.

November would have marked 30 years David guided my company through year ends, acquisitions and the changes my family went through regarding our business. I was only 27 when I bought the business. David helped to shape the integrity my company by showing how to never colour outside the lines. All 35 of our employees enjoy the benefit of that culture today. Sincere thanks for that. Heartfelt condolences to his family and work family on behalf of Kelly, Braeghan, Berit and my work family, Keith Richardson, President, Keith's Building Supplies

I was shocked and saddened to hear of David’s recent death. David , Frank and I would often have lunch together at the City Market talking about travels, fishing and family The last time we did so was just before I did some travelling in September. He was always interested in others and of course, was interested to know about my pending trip. I will miss those lunches. David’s death is a tragic loss for so many, but of course mostly for his much loved family. Please accept my sincere condolences.
