Obituary of Allan Calvin McKenzie
The son of the late Robert J and Rose J (McDonald). Allan, after graduating from Millidgeville North High School in 1981 started his career at the Metropolitan Store in 1993. After 13 years of service the company closed out and after a single weeks lay off Allan started his long work relationship with Canadian Tire west.
After 20 years of service, where he held several positions a sudden change in his health forced him into early retirement.
Allan was noted for his love of animals, the Boston Bruins, and of course his idol KISS. He had a sharp sense of humor and would make people laugh even at his own expense. If he could make someone laugh he achieved what he set out to do that day.
In his later years, he found a fondness for jigsaw puzzles and word-find puzzles. Besides his parents, Allan was predeceased by his sister Marilyn. He is survived by one sister Nora “Trudy” and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
