Obituary of Mary Ann Elizabeth Patterson
On December 29th, Mary Ann Patterson left this world, and we are sad. It’s a selfish sad because we will no longer have our chats, walks, drives, dinners or card games. No more trips to Ireland, New York, or the casino. No more St. Patty’s Day parties or Canada Day at the property. Except, she hasn’t really left us.
She is in our hearts, minds, and souls. We will take her when we travel, when we chat, she will be at our parties and at the property. She is here as long as we think of her and hold her memories close. She is not sad. She had a wonderful life and is now reunited with all of those she missed. She will watch over us, patiently waiting until we join her again.
So live with your whole selves.
Be brave, be kind, be silly, be adventurous and be forgiving of imperfections. Let’s give her a show she can be proud of and then we will have lived a great life too.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424), with visitation on Monday, January 2, 2023, from 3 to 7 pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at her cherished church, Holy Spirit Parish (St. Rose Worship Site), on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at 12 noon with interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The David Patterson Memorial Fund, or a charity of your choice.
