To the Dickson Family
Our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your dear Mom and a dear grandmother. She was an incredible woman who touched so many hearts. I hope it will comfort you to know that we share in your loss of such a wonderful woman. She lived her life faithfully serving her God, Jehovah. Some of our fondest memories are with you and your loved one. We never forget the joy they brought us. My Mom, my siblings, my husband and I recall the fun times we had camping with the “Dicksons in Fundy National Park” , whether it was boating on Bennett Lake, hiking on different trails. She will always be remembered. Sending our love and prayers your way.

Since we met her almost 30 years ago, we have accumulated a wealth of memories of Shirley.
And these memories are truly a wealth, something we will always treasure.
She and Don were loving, kind, hard working & hospitable. Always there to offer their home, their help and their love. They never retired from helping others.
We worked together on projects at the kingdom halls, renovations & maintenance, yard work. She always had a grand garden & shared her plants & produce. I recall weeding the flower beds at the hall with Shirley one day, it was sometime after Don's death so she was in her mid-90's. It was hard to keep up with her.
She was still driving but had made the concession of going to an automatic transmission instead of the standards that she'd always preferred.
A constant & encouraging example, consistent in her worship of & love for Jehovah, which she reflected in her love towards others. She expended herself in the ministry, searching out & sharing her hope with any who would listen. We had great times together doing that.
I can see her in my mind, at the kingdom hall, in her usual spot over on the left side about 2 rows from the back, smiling, laughing, talking.
The cruel restrictions of advancing age & declining health gradually limited her activities but could not change the beautiful person that was Shirley.
We offer our sincere sympathy to all of her family and thank you for sharring your dear mother with us. Carol and David Liebel
