Obituary of Rose Estelle Riley
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rose E. (Crowley) Riley, which occurred on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on November 7, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Irene (O’Toole) Crowley.
Rose leaves behind her brothers, John Crowley (Ruth) of Ontario, Arthur Crowley (Doreen), William Crowley (Barbara); sister-in-law, Connie Crowley; brother-in-law, Robert Quinlan; as well as several of her nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Patrick Riley; brother, Daniel Crowley; sisters, Irene Campbell (Fraser), Alma Hazel (Fred), Helen Quinlan.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). With visitation on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 3:00 – 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Our Lady of Assumption on Thursday, February 9, 2023, beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in memory of Rose may be made to The Heart and Stroke of Saint John, and to Our Lady of Assumption Church. Online condolences may be placed at www.BrenansFH.com
