Uncle Wayne and family - we are with you in spirit and have you and Aunt Marilyn in our hearts. I remember being young and thinking that her smile was so wonderful and her sense of humour so infectuous. She was indeed a cool Auntie and I won't forget.
Take good care and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Wayne and family I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Marilyn. She always put up with us all just arriving at their home most often with Wayne. She would feed us, and laugh with us and even if she was annoyed it didn't show. I know your family will miss her very much; her wisdom, her wit and her love. The memories you have of her will keep her in your hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Valerie Lebel. .

After eleven years having babies and being a stay-at-home mum, I went back to work. I was terrified when I walked into the East Branch Library and met the staff. Marilyn was assigned to teach me what I needed to know. With her wisdom, warmth and her intuition, she knew just what I needed to calm my fears. With her unmatched kindness and humour, she made every workday a pleasure. She was a gift to me, her co-workers and every patron who had the pleasure of receiving her exemplary public service.

When I retired from the West Branch Library Marilyn gave me a framed photograph taken of the two of us laughing together at one of our East Branch/ West Branch social get togethers. She wrote on the photograph : “ Ruth you can change the picture, but not the memories “. I look at that photograph often and cherish it. After these many years the picture has surely changed but the memories of that witty, kind, compassionate friend to so many, and the best colleague one could ever have, will always remain.
Marilyn most assuredly had her share of great sorrows but in spite of them she continued to bring joy and comfort tonso many.
Time and life’s circumstances often seem to get in the way of maintaining contact. I regret not having been in touch with Marilyn for a very long time. But her words will always linger “ you can’t change the memories x”
To all the Jollineau family , and those near and dear to her, my deepest sympathy.
Ruth Jackson

To the entire Jollineau Family, There are too many warm and great memories to share, but know that this household was our second home for so many years. My Late Parents, Bruce and Shirley, thought the world of Marilyn. Life passes by far to quickly and we wait far too long to express our heartfelt gratitude and friendship for all of the wonderful memories and laughter. Our many fond memories of Marilyn & Wayne include sitting on their deck enjoying 'happy hour' looking out at the Kennebecasis River. Over the last number of years we have had many wonderful conversations and lots of laughs. Always a welcoming atmosphere at the Jollineau's home, no matter how many just dropped by for a visit. We loved Marilyn and she will be missed dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with Wayne xo, Jill, Jane, Jody and family xoxo

To Wayne and family, so deeply saddened to learn of Marilyn’s passing. She was the bright light of my 13 years at the East branch library. I suffered with her when she went through the deep grief of losing her parents and then Jeff and Christopher. Words alone cannot expressed her wonderful character.
Marilyn was kind caring and considerate, always had a joke and with me usually had the last word. We had drifted apart in the last few years and I knew she was not well but I am shocked to learn of her passing. God comfort you and this time of sorrow.

There are so many words that could be said about Mrs. J but the first word that comes to mind would be kindness. Through the years of lives changing there was always the feeling of understanding and wisdom. The kindness expressed by her children when when live events happen show the lessons they have been taught and the lasting legacy she has created. The words expressed in the obit summed up so many thoughts of how she was thought of and how she thought of others. My thoughts go out to Mr. J, Jane, Jill and Jody and their families and all the other amazing people that she has been responsible for and how she influenced their lives. There are some people who leave a lasting impression and in her quiet way she has left a positive impression on the world and everyone she had ever come into contact with. The world has lost a very good person today but I am sure she is safe and still smiling.

Wayne and family, I think those descriptive words in Marilyn’s obit are perfect. Quiet, wise and witty! So many times over the years after visiting the Pelton Road estate……I”d reflect on my conversation with Marilyn and all the interesting, informative and yes, often comical things she’d have shared with us. Such an easy person to get to know, chat with and of course love. She will indeed continue to live on in the minds and hearts of her all of us who enjoyed and admired her. Hug the countless memories. All my thoughts and prayers go out to Uncle Wayne, cousins Jill, Jane, Jody, their extended families and Jeff's extended families. Wayne and Marilyn were my "other parents" in the Soo until I was four, so I can honestly say I have had much practice in missing being in Marilyn's presence. That will not change but the memory of knowing what it felt like being loved by her will stay with me forever.
