Shawn,I am so sorry to hear of Monty's passing.I had so many years and so many laughs spent with her as I did her hair weekly for 40 years .She was my first client starting out my career and we just clicked. The years I remember the most were of her and little Oliver .She so loved to sit with him on her lap and he was always so excited to see her coming. As soon as she sat down he would jump up on her lap the whole time she got her hair done.So many people will miss her .Just know that she was so special to me as well. You were always so good to her and I admired you for that.My prayers for her and the family.

My sincere condolences to the family of the Spit fire known to all as Monty.
I did not have the pleasure of knowing her until she was over 100!!! When I got to meet her she was still volunteering at Rocmaura , helping the old people she said. I will never forget the sound oh her old manual type writer clacking away as I walked passed her apartment at the Chateau. Writing letters on a daily basis she received more mail than any one else.
On more than one occasion I had to turn down an invitation for a drink of rum, and wish today those invitations had come when I wasn't working so I could have sat and listened to more of her wonderful memories.
May you find peace knowing how much she loved and respected every member of her family.
RIP my little Spitfire.

We have been blessed by having the honour and privilege of having Monty in our lives and so thankful she chose to come to Chateau de Champlain to live as she spoiled us with her smiles, laughter, no nonsense manner but mostly with her kindless and love.
Our condolences to her family and the Memorial video was a "perfect" representation of her life I will cherish my time with Monty in my memories.

From the Board of Directors, Management, and Staff of Rocmaura Nursing Home, We send our heartfelt condolences. Monty was so much fun, her personality just lit up a room. She always joked about how she was coming to visit the "old people" at our Nursing Home. Monty was instrumental in our Auxiliary, and she never missed a week helping with BINGO. She will be so missed but never forgotten. She was a big part of Rocmaura's community of caring people.

For many years parents and I would look across the street and grandson Avenue and wave or say hello to flow every day.
We would be amazed at her, vibrancy and spiciness no matter what was going on with her.
She certainly will be missed from her latest home, and I know she was a vital part of the joy of living in Cranston Ave for my parents, myself and my children.
So my dad passed away 10 years ago and flow always had a good laugh. My mom would ask about flu whenever I would come home. And I too would ask my daughter Natalie if she had heard any updates. Today was the day I heard that she had passed.
On behalf of all of us who lives across the street over the decades, my parents Hope and Nick Nicolle, myself David Nicolle and family, and daughter Natalie and Justin Justason our condolences.

To Maureen, Kevin, Shawn & Families,
What a wonderful journey your beautiful Mom has experienced. ‘Life is not over for her; just changed’ I have so many memories of our childhood, Shawn & I going to St Pius X School & Church, playing duets on piano for Festival, playing ‘store’ & ‘school’ in our basements, at the playground, on bikes, at DQ. Your home was my 2nd home. What a great ‘neighbourhood’ we lived in. Our most sincere sympathy to all during this difficult time. Thoughts & Prayers are with you. An energetic volunteer in several ways. May Monty Rest In Peace
