Obituary of Mike Bonvie
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of John Michael Bonvie which occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on July 5, 2023. Born December 4, 1941, in Nova Scotia. He was the son of the late John and Margaret (Forbes) Bonvie. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Tiana Henderson and honourary grandchildren, Kylee Henderson, Mitchell Henderson; as well as nieces, nephews, and several cousins.
Mike lived with his son Rob, until his passing in 2020. He enjoyed his time at Rocmaura Nursing Home playing bingo, listening to music, going on long drives and could always be found reading a book in his room as he was a “Prolific Reader.”
The family would like to thank the staff of Garden Court for their dedication to his quality of life and ability to allow him to pass with dignity and respect.
