Obituary of Donna Ferguson

Donna May Ferguson (Sanderson), passed away unexpectedly in her 81st year at her residence in Upham, New Brunswick, with her partner of 9 years, Wendell Jones by her side on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023.  Donna was born on March 3, 1943 in Emo, Ontario to the late Joseph MORLEY Sanderson and the late Kathalean May (Skinner) Sanderson.  Donna is survived by her daughter Kim Hales (John) and 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren of Belleville, Ontario.  She is also survived by her step-daughter Karen Greenley (Doug), step-granddaughters Brooklyn and Shyann, grandson Robert and 5 great-grandchildren.  Donna leaves behind her niece Anne Marie Murray (Scott) and great-niece Nevaeh and great-nephew Schyler who Donna took under her wing and stayed with for the last 5 summers on her return to Ontario.  Donna will be remembered by her friends and family who she visited every summer on her yearly vacations.  Donna was predeceased by the love of her life Ken Smith as well as her brothers Raymond Sanderson, Kenneth Sanderson and sister Susan Deline.  As per Donna's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date alongside her sister Susan.  The burial will take place at the Wellington Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Donna's name.
