Obituary of Olena Shatalova

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Olena Shatalova announces her sudden passing which occurred on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. Born September 23, 1968, in Ukraine, she was the daughter to the late Gennadii Shatalov and Tamara.

Olena was a bubbly and bright spirit who always looked towards the positives in life and encouraged others to do the same. She was incredibly happy with the life she and her family built and wanted to share that love and joy with everyone she knew.

She is survived by her loving husband Serguei Piltiai and their daughter Maria Piltiai. She is also survived by many special friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). Visitation will take place on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a memorial service to take place immediately following the visitation at 2:00 pm.
