Taber: D. Clair
Peacefully, with family by his side, D. Clair Taber passed away at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023. Born in Bloomfield Station, New Brunswick, on June 7th, 1931, he was the son of the late Percy and Helen Taber (nee Dempster).
Beloved husband of Audrey Taber (nee Saunders).
Clair was steadfast in his dedication to his work as a buyer, supply & services, with the federal government. This devotion was surpassed only by the commitment he showed to his faith and family.
Besides his parents, Clair was predeceased by his siblings Weeden Taber, Gordon Taber, Leslie Taber, Gerald Taber, Jennie Taber, and Marie Smith.
Clair is survived, and will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home (506-634-7424), 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, on Thursday, September 7th, 2023, from 12 noon until the time of the Funeral Service at 1pm. A reception will immediately follow. Private interment in Fernhill Cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be livestreamed via the Funeral Home website.
