Obituary of Rosemary Theresa (MacDonald) Landry Nicoles
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rosemary (Mary) Theresa Landry - Nicoles announces her passing on September 16th, 2023. Mary passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving husband, Nick and cat, Ginger. She was born in Stephenville Crossing, Newfoundland, but spent her life raising a family in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Mary had a beautiful soul and was an extremely loving mother, who dedicated her whole life to her childrens’ happiness, even if they were not blood related. She loved them deeply and unconditionally with a love that could brighten a room. She was one-of-a-kind, she’d give you the shirt off her back, she was as stubborn as they come, and she never held back. She was selflessly devoted to her community by helping those less fortunate than her and will leave behind a big hole in so many hearts.
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Nick Nicoles; her son, Darrel Landry (Courtney) and daughter, Loretta Landry (Derek); stepsons, Zoe Nicoles (Tania) and Spyros Nicoles (Chalena); grandchildren: Charlotte, Georgia, Virgil, Cassia, Alexandra, Yanna, and Nikita; brothers and sisters: Stephen, Patrick, the late Calvin, Marilyn (Billy), John (Vi), Joseph, the late Daniel (Donna), the late Charles, Lucy (Carl), Robert (Sandra), Della, Roseanna, Paul (Sheila), and Leonard.
