Obituary of Donna Ann Adair
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Ann Adair (Hansen) on September 19th, 2023, at the Turnbull Nursing Home, after a lengthy period of failing health. Born on January 15, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Lars and Beatrice Hansen.
She was best known for her quick wit and her kindness to her children, grandchildren, and pets. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Bev Adair; her devoted daughters: Charlene Sullivan (Michael) and Jennifer Foote; her cherished grandchildren who meant everything to her: Craig (Rachel Kerzner), Michaela (Sam Dionne) and Michelle Sullivan, and Jonah Foote; sisters-in-law: Betty Sands and Eva Hansen, along with nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her son-in-law Brian Foote; stepsisters: Henny Kraglund and Ingrid Drew; stepbrothers: James Sands and Raymond Hansen.
Thank you to Turnbull Nursing Home for the wonderful care she received over the past seven years.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). In keeping with Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a graveside service in Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Alzheimer's Society of NB, Turnbull Nursing Home or a charity of the donor’s choice.
