Obituary of Jessica Lee Heeney

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jessica Heeney (Tibbert) on November 2, 2023. She was born in Leominster, Massachusetts, U.S.A on July 24, 1984. She graduated from The University of New Brunswick's Registered Nurse program.

She is survived by her mother Cindy Tibbert of Saint John, NB; daughter Hannah Heeney (Mary); brother Nicholas Tibbert; her sister Miranda Gommerud (Simon); her fur babies Lucky, and Kitten; as well as her chosen family Margaret Lochart, and Joyce Nickerson. She will be reunited with more family on the other side; her grandmother Eileen Natalie Lee; and her good friend Brian.

She will be deeply missed by the friends she has made throughout her life and her memory and legacy will carry on through our hearts.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-632-7424). Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. A private family interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
