Obituary of Murray Lee Bacon
BACON, Murray Lee
May 21, 1946 – December 9, 2023
It is with profound sadness that the family of Murray Bacon announces his passing which occurred on December 9, 2023, at The Saint John Regional Hospital. Born May 21, 1946, in Saint John, New Brunswick, to Hartley and Winnifred Bacon.
Murray is survived by his wife of 54 years, the love of his life, Patricia “Pat” Bacon; son Chris Bacon (Tasha); daughters Kelly Bacon, and Jennifer Liston (Brian); grandchildren Rebecca Stone, Paige Stone, Ashlee Bacon, and Tyler Bacon; sister Donna Conrad; special nephew Dave Andrews (Lynn); as well as many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends. Murray will be lovingly reunited with his parents Hartley and Winnifred; grandson Riley Bacon; sister Liz Andrews; brother Dave Bacon; nephew Mike Andrews; and his brother-in-law Charlie Andrews.
The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the police, EMS, fire department, and the staff in the emergency department of The Saint John Regional Hospital for their dedication and support.
Murray is resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424). Visitation will be held Monday, December 11, 2023, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Brenan’s Funeral Home. Funeral Liturgy will be held in Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 2:00 PM with interment to follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
