Obituary of Audrey Gertrude Harned
HARNED, Audrey Gertrude
February 21, 1940 – December 28, 2023
The family of Audrey Harned (McEachern) announce her passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital in her 83rd year; born in Saint John, New Brunswick to her parents Otto and Rose McEachern.
We are heartbroken to have to say goodbye to our cherished and so very loved mother. She was our comfort, our strength, our constant in this ever-changing world. Her passing has left a void that nothing can ever fill. She was loving, fun, encouraging, supportive, kind, humble, and the most selfless human being we’ve ever known. We loved her then, we love her now, and we’ll love her forever. We are so very blessed to have been her family and take solace in knowing she is now walking with Jesus and that she no longer suffers but rejoices in the presence of loved ones that had gone before her. Forever and ever in our hearts.
She will be lovingly reunited with her husband Maxwell; mother and father Rose and Otto McEachern; sisters Rosie and Bessie; brothers Kenny, Wally, Pat, and Gordie. She will be profoundly missed by her daughters Laura (John), and Lindy; sons David and Christopher “Bam”; her brother Richard “Yogi”; her grandchildren Serena (David), Luke (Catherine), Zack (Jessica), Anna, Sam, Jenny (Chad), Andrew (Tasha), Benjamin (Kristina), Kalyn (Steven), and Kyle (Michelle); great grandchildren Willow, Weston, Louie, Maddy, Isaac, Parker, Jimmy, Aria, Conner, Cameron, Caroline, Amelia, Abigail, Lexie, Hunter; many nieces and nephews, two of which were very near and dear to her heart Glenna and Beth; as well as many extended family members and close friends.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). A visitation will be held on January 2, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will take place on January 3, 2024, from 11:00 AM with interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery (1380 Sand Cove Road).
