Obituary of Carol Elizabeth Wilson
Carol Elizabeth Wilson passed away peacefully on January 2, 2024 at the age of 101. A beloved wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother who was greatly devoted to her family and her faith, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Carol was born on December 23, 1922 in Saint John, New Brunswick to Muriel (Nicholl) and the Hon. A. C. Smith. She was the younger sister of the late Catherine (Smith) Armstrong and older sister of the late Colby Smith.
Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband Keith M. Wilson and her adored grandson Mark Cruikshank. She is survived and held in loving memory by her two daughters Fawn (Kenneth) White and Milo (Kevin) Cruikshank; her grandchildren Emily White, Kathryn (Chris) Hull and David (fiancée Jessica) Cruikshank; her sister-in-law Lorna Wilson; and her nephews and nieces Graeme Scott, Gail Camalier, Rob Wilson and Jeff Wilson, and their families.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, July 26, 11:00 AM at St. John’s (Stone) Anglican Church, 87 Carleton Street, Saint John.
