Obituary of Nancy Ann Stevens

It is with great sadness that the family of Nancy Ann Stevens (nee McLean) announces her passing on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024. Born in Miramichi on May 11, 1958, to the late Bill and Susan McLean.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters Natasha McLean (Blair) and Nicole Stevens (Matt), granddaughter Samantha, her sisters Betty McLean, Joan Beaudet (Dennis) and Suzanne Osmon (Ron) as well as her Aunt Gen, stepchildren Zyrack and Tanya, several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother John Mather and ex-husband Ronald Stevens.

Nancy spent most of her life as a homemaker and her daughters were her pride and joy. She enjoyed spending time with her family, talking and telling stories. She had a fun sense of humour and liked to make people laugh. Nancy had a fondness for animals, and she adored her cat, Abby. Nancy was kind hearted and would always help someone in need without hesitation.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). Per Nancy’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
