Obituary of Real Joseph St. Pierre
With sadness, we announce the passing of Real Joseph St. Pierre on February 1, 2024, at Carleton-Kirk Lodge Nursing Home. Born June 14, 1937, Real was a son of the late Nicholas St. Pierre and Alice (Savoie) St. Pierre.
He was predeceased by his son, Regent St. Pierre; sisters: Edna Sisk, Jeanette Vautour, Annette O’Hearn, and Nicole St. Pierre.
Real is survived by his brother, André St. Pierre; sons: Jean-Marc (Karen) and Roger (Robyn); daughters: Gisèle St. Pierre (Mike Curran), Doris Pearson (the late Jodi), Rhéa St. Pierre, Rose-Marie St. Pierre, and Paulette Day (Jon); and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Real worked as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. He loved to tell stories and have a good laugh. Real loved to shoot pool and play cards and darts.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and volunteers of Carleton-Kirk Lodge for their care and support over the past few years. Your kindness will not be forgotten.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424), where visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral liturgy will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 1 pm in Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Monday, February 5, 2024, at 1 pm.
