Obituary of Darla Hayes

It is with great sadness that the family of Darla (Darryl) Hayes announces her passing which occurred on Sunday, Feb 4th, 2024 at home.  She is survived by brothers, Terry (Candace) of Saint John and Mike (Jennifer) of Quispamsis.  She is also survived by her nephews, Justin (Kyla) of Greenwood NS, Nathan (Elspeth) of Petawawa ON and Max and Alex of Quispamsis; as well as great-nephew and niece, Barrett and Laney of Petawawa. 

Darla was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Darlene (Burtt) Hayes and her older brother, Dana Hayes.

Darla was a hard worker who loved animals, movies, music and spending time outdoors.  Darla was also a proud member of the LGBTQ community. 

In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Interment will take place at a later date.  Arrangments are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424).
