Very sorry to hear of Carol's death. I didn't know her well; I met her when she was videotaping Wednesday night races from the Mary O at RKYC, when I was visiting my mother. Carol struck me as warm and welcoming, and we became Facebook friends. I enjoyed her posts, as well as personal texts. She always had something positive and encouraging to say. I appreciated her friendship, and I want to tell her family that I will miss her.

She will be missed.I knew her in the hospital and after our respective retirements she used to “wheel up the street” in her wheelchair and talk. I didn’t see her last summer, I guess that explains. Rest in peace. Life isn’t fair is it.

I was saddened to hear of Carol's passing. She was an amazing person and a thoughtful professional. She was part of the hiring team that brought me from Ireland to New Brunswick. She was the most helpful person you could think of. It was always a pleasure to see her for many years afterwards. Even when she was struggling with health issues, her caring attitude never faded a bit. May God rest her in Peace. My sincere condolences to all her family and prayers that God grants them strength to bear this irreparable loss.

I was saddened to hear of Carol’s passing. I have fond memories of working with Carol on a Junior Acheivement program and we crossed paths in our professional lives at the Hosptial as well. Her big smile and sense of humour was infectious. It’s been a pleasure keeping in touch on Facebook as well over the last several years. She will be missed by many and the fond memories will last a lifetime for me. My sincere condolences to Carol’s family.

I just learned about Carol’s death. I am so sorry.
Carol and I met at Fundy Cable on Chesley Drive. I missed her after she left, (the office was so quiet), and I miss her now.
Carol was a cheery, wise and fun- loving colleague and friend; but above all, she was a proud mom. Krista and Julie, I hope you can take comfort in knowing that.
My thoughts are with you, Hup and the family during this very difficult time.

I am very sorry to hear of Carols' passing. I got to know Carol in her role as Executive Assistant and later Physician Recruitment Officer when I was Chief of Surgery . I can say without hesitation Carol was a pleasure to work with obvious capability, intelligence, and insight. She understood people and always saw the bigger picture as well as paid attention to details.
The last couple of years I am sure were very tough for her but she kept her humour and interest in people and soldiered on.
She will be greatly missed and was truly a great spirit. Sincere condolences to her friends and family.

When Phoebe and I came for a sight visit from the UK in November 2011, Carol's frank and friendly openness helped calm our worries. She pointed us to down to earth people who gave us unembellished facts to help us reach a decision about staying in Saint John. Carol remained a friend since then. She will be sorely missed.

My memories of Carol are way too numerous to choose only one to share.
But this photo gives a clue to how much we enjoyed each other's company ... We laughed and yes, we cried together.
You see, Carol was my dearest friend and confidant for over thirty years.
Suffice to say, I loved her and miss her ... but I believe we'll see eachother again when it's my turn to leave.
In fact, I'm sure Carol is already patiently waiting and planning ... ready to organize even more adventures for us to share.
Thank you SO much for being my Friend ... XOXOX
See ya .... !

Very sorry to hear of Carol's passing. Carol was a huge asset to the Saint John Regional Hospital in her role as Physician Recruitment Advisor. She was a strong advocate for New Brunswick and especially Saint John. As our first point of contact Carol played a vital role in making potential new physician recruits feel welcome and supported. Her local knowledge was second to none and her kindness was renowned. She kept in contact with all of her recruits for years after our appointments, checking in on us, providing advice and celebrating both work and family achievements. Her office was always open as a reliable source of advice, kindness or just for a chat. She was hugely missed when she retired and will be even more so with her passing.

I was sorry to hear of Carol's passing this weekend. I worked with Carol in the Medical Staff Office when she was Physician Recruitment Advisor. She was cheerful and welcoming but always a strong advocate for attracting Physicians to our community . Many Physicians relied on her to help them navigate the various pathways to establishing a practice in Saint John and all Department Heads called on her regularly for help and advice.. Each new Physician recruit was treated like family . She was missed when she retired .

Carol and I were great friends from 1960-1963 when we both lived in Dominion Park . We had such good times, swimming at the beach, exploring the woods, just hanging out.
I moved away and we lost touch. In 2019 she found me again! (Thanks face book) I was delighted! Although we didn't connect very many times since then, the attachment was still there. We kept each other in our hearts and she will be in mine forever. My love and prayers to her husband and daughters.
