Obituary of Delia Rich Cushing

The family of Delia Cushing are saddened to announce her passing, which occurred at her home in Saint John on March 4, 2024. Delia was born October 24th, 1939, in Saint John, New Brunswick, the daughter of the late George Benjamin Cushing, and Elizabeth Marcella (Leonard) Cushing.

Delia is survived by her siblings; Helen Hunting (Gerald) of California, and Andre Cushing (Mary) of Ontario, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Louise Scott, and her brothers, George Benjamin Cushing Jr., James Cushing, and Chauncy Cushing.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424). A private interment at Fernhill Cemetery will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Delia would be greatly appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Society, or the Heart and Stroke foundation, or a charity of the donor's choice.
