Obituary of Judith Marie Galbraith
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Judith Marie Galbraith announces her passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Apil 17, 2024. Born in Saint John, New Brunswick on February 25, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Agnes (Porter) Galbraith.
She was a natural nurturer and spent many years working in the medical field as a nurse. She found great joy in helping others and in her spare time Judith could be found volunteering at many of Saint John’s resource centers such as Outflow, First steps, and the E.L.F. reading program.
Judith is survived by her nieces, Amy Galbraith and Susan Knolla; nephew David Galbraith; grand nephew Jacob; grand niece Kate; and sister-in-law Alice Galbraith.
Besides her parents Judith was predeceased by her brothers Lawrence Galbraith, Brian Galbraith, and Robert Galbraith; her sisters Patricia Irving and Barbara Fearnhead; and her nephew Allan Fearnhead.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) A Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will take place an hour prior beginning at 10:00 AM. An interment will follow the service at St. Joesph’s Cemetery.
