Obituary of Joanne Elizabeth Loretto Ryan Green

Our dearest mother, Joanne Elizabeth Loretto Ryan Green, daughter of the late Joseph and Lois (Montgomery) Ryan, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 23, 2024. She was born on August 14, 1955, in Montreal, Quebec, and married Steve Green on August 26, 1974.

Joanne was the loving mother of Jason, Lori, Sarah, Katie, and Benjamin; the loving grandmother of Lee, Lex, Axl, and Beau; and siblings: Linda, Peter, Michael, and Darcy.

Joanne was a peaceful, graceful soul, who loved with great gentleness. She loved her children and grandchildren very much, and her close friend, Michael Bamford, who will miss her as much as family.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424). A private family service will take place at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
