COCHRANE, Margaret “Peggy” Florence

After battling a lengthy illness over the past 5 years in the comfort of her own home, the family is saddened to announce the passing of Margaret “Peggy” Cochrane, of Saint John, NB, on May 14, 2024, at Bobby’s Hospice. She was born on March 27, 1932, in Fredericton, NB.

She will be immensely missed by her sons Charles “Bo” (Pat) of Edmonton, Douglas “Tiny” of Saint John, and Dennis of Saint John; daughter Sheila of Ottawa; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Fred, and her children Brian “Mike”, Brenda, Terry, and Robert “Bobby”.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the many hospital staff, particularly floor 5CN, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, as well as the staff with Saint John’s Extramural Program and the homecare staff with Kindred’s Home Care program for their kind and compassionate care.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). Visitation will be held at Brenan’s on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A private service will be held at a later date.
