Obituary of AnnMarie 2024010342 Gallant
It is with great sadness that the family of AnnMarie (Nickerson) Gallant announces her passing which occurred on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB on October 1, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Hazel (Huskins) Nickerson.
AnnMarie spent many years working for the Saint John Regional Hospital and Loch Lomond Villa before switching to childcare and elder care. She always loved and enjoyed everywhere she worked. AnnMarie loved travelling and camping at TNT Campground in the summer and spending time with her cherished grandchildren. Her wonderful smile will be deeply missed.
AnnMarie leaves behind her children, Suelle and Deanna; brothers, Paul (Eunice) and Lawrence (Kim); sister, Donna (Raymond); grandchildren, Leanne (Mike), Jessica, Mel (Cass), Jayden, Harley; great-grandchildren, Landen, Kayden, Chase, Gerrah, Joanna; special friend, Brian; sister-in-law Joyce; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also a loving stepmother to Eddie’s children, Alane, Diane, Suzy, Lyle. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph “Eddie”; brothers, Alden, Ronald, Wayne; sister, Carolyn; half-siblings, Walter “Bud” (Betty); Fran (Brian), Isabel.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). With visitation on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held from The Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, June 14, 2024, beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow place in Fernhill Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ann Marie may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
