Obituary of Nancy Ann Oliver
The family of Nancy Ann (Logan) Oliver, wife of Wayne Oliver, is saddened to announce her untimely passing which occurred at her home in Rothesay of Sunday, June 9, 2024. Born on May 26, 1955 in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Sydney and Joan (Goodin) Logan.
Nancy took great comfort in surrounding herself with the beauty of nature. She simply loved the fresh air, enjoyed fishing, wading in the rivers, the majesty of the mountains and tending her gardens. Nancy also enjoyed boating, camping and of course bonfires. To know Nancy was to love Nancy. She was kind, a hard worker, creative (especially with her painting) and she always had a special place in her heart for animals. She loved movies and was a woman who was famous for having many projects on the go at once (projects and tasks that she always finished). She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
In addition to her husband, Wayne, she will be forever missed by children, Robert Oliver (Crystal) and Laura Oliver; precious grandchildren, Austin, Brandon, Alexander, Alyssa, Jessy, Jake, Olivia and Sophia; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy, Sydney, Frank, James, Joan, Dave, Margaret, Brian, Mabel, Gary and Kevin; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) where visitation will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will take place from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 486 Kennebecasis River Road, Hampton on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
For those who wish, donations in loving memory of Nancy may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
