Deepest sympathy to Sue's family and friends on the passing of Sue. I worked with Sue on the OBS floor from 1980-1991. She was a very caring RN. I had seen her walking by my house on Manawagonish Rd with a friend twice recently and sadly did not get out to speak with her. Praying for comfort for her family.

To Harrison and Huestis Families,
I was shocked to see that dear Sue passed away. She was so concerned about my health and always asked me how I was doing when we saw eachother. She was a compassionate nurse and an overall wonderful person. She was so faithful to St. Mark’s and always chatted with my late mum and dad after service years ago. I’m sure she will be missed by so many. My heart goes out to you in sorrow.

To Dick, Heather, John, Faye, and families,
We want to send our thoughts and prayers to you at this time.
Sue was kind, generous, loving, and made the best pies!
During our monthly dinner, cards, and walk day we would hear her pride in the activities of her children and grandchildren. Family and friends were very important to Sue and we know that the families will have many wonderful memories to lean on at this difficult time.
We are shocked and saddened to hear of her passing, and can't imagine life without Sue in it.
Joan and Stu Groom,

Dick, John, Heather, we were shocked and saddened to hear the sudden news about Sue. I have known Sue my entire life; she was such an important and special person to me and the entire Steen family. While Liz, Carley and Leah have only spent a short time with Sue, they all feel like they've known her their whole lives as she always made them feel like family. When I think of Sue, there are too many amazing memories to recall them all. If I had to summarize Sue in a few words, she was like a second mother to me when growing up and I could always count on her to make me macaroni with jam and rollie-polies. Our deepest condolences for your loss; Sue will be missed.

I worked with Sue on evening and night shifts in the neonatal unit at St John Regional hospital. She was a wonderful nurse to work with. Often we were both assigned to the transitional neonatal unit where we found ourselves with up to 18 babies with the two of us. Her sense of calmness along with professionalism and a good dose of humor got us through those nights. Sue spoke so lovingly of her husband and family. Although I never met her husband Dick or children John and Heather, I felt I knew them through the stories she would share. I am sorry for the sudden loss of your wife, mom, and grandma.
