I have known Matthew since we were at St. Joseph's school. We spent many years together working bingo at the CYO and the Knights of Columbus, playing sports on the weekends, camping, and weekends just hanging out at his place. I love Matt,he was always one of my favorite people. I last saw Matt at my wedding and we had a good time with all of our childhood friends. I will miss him until my time is up. Love you Matt. My condolences to the Levesque family. This just breaks my heart.

Mike, Mary and all of the Levesque Family,
I was so sorry to read of Matt's passing. I immediately was taken back to the early years and remember Matt fondly from our days at St. Joseph's School on Waterloo Street and, of course, from hanging out on the steps of the South End Daycare across from the Levesque Home on Coburg Street. Those daycare steps were the hangout spot for many of us most evenings and weekends. Matt was to many of us Mike's "little brother", the quiet guy who would come across the street and want to hang out with all of us each evening. Those were great memories. Although Matt is no longer with us, the wonderful memories you have of him in your heart will help you to get through the difficult days ahead. My condolences to each of you on the loss of your brother, Matt. Rest easy Matt!

My sincere condolences goes out to the entire Levesque family and to my daughters Danielle and Allie on the loss of their dear uncle Matt.
I met Matthew approximately 40 years ago. Even as young teenager, Matthew was a kind, gentle, soft-spoken fella. He reminded me of his father in so many ways; I was always impressed by how close Matt was to his mother, especially in the later years.
His passing saddens me for many reasons...so young and gone much too soon.
Matt, I pray you are at peace and in the good company of your mother and father smiling down on all of us.
God Bless,
Christine

I remember the sweet kindness of Matt and always making sure us girls had a way home after a great celebration of just being together. Matthew was someone you could talk to and he would just listen and ask for nothing back. To the Leveque family, I send my deepest sympathy of a loss so great but also a thank you for so many memories to last a life time.
