Obituary of Kenneth Joseph Gionet
It is with great sadness that the family of Kenneth Joseph Gionet announces his passing which occurred in St. Albert, Alberta on August 18, 2024. Born in Saint John, NB on August 10, 1970, to Shirley (Connelly) and the late Kenneth Gionet.
A passionate Edmonton Oilers fan, avid biker, and dedicated worker at Service Master until his injury, Kenny's greatest joy was being an amazing father, proudly attending his children's hockey games and practices, beaming with pride. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones.
Kenny leaves behind his wife, Lesley (Robbins) Gionet; children, Samuel Burnstick, Savana Robbins-Burnstick, Denica Robbins-Arcand, Kasen Gionet, Makayla Gionet (Cory), Aaron O’Toole, Junior Williams (Marylee); mother, Shirley (Connelly) Gionet; stepfather, Dave Robichaud; stepbrother, David Robichaud; stepsister, Tammy Richard (Dan); grandchildren, Ryder, Brooklyn, Cassady; as well as several nieces and nephews. Kenneth was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Gionet.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). With visitation on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 6:00 - 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 1:00 PM from Christine Brigley’s place (27 Tulip Street, Saint John, NB). Donations in memory of Kenny may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
