Obituary of Catherine "Bernice" (nee McKillop) & John William Warner

John Warner passed away in July of 2021 at the age of 76, followed by his beloved wife, Catherine “Bernice” Warner (nee McKillop) in June of 2024 at the age of 97, both in Ontario.

They are survived by Bernice’s daughter, Kim Todd; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Flower; John’s sons, Paul and Shawn; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bernice was predeceased by her parents, James and Mary Ethel McKillop; brother, Gordon (Dorthy); sisters: Hilda Thorne (George), Marion Stewart (Ronald), and Audrey Hetherington (John); son, Rev. Stephen Flower; and son-in-law, Steve Todd.

In keeping with their wishes, a Celebration of Life for both Bernice and John will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from the chapel of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424) at 1 pm, followed by a reception in Brenan’s Reception Centre. Interment will take place at a later date.
