Obituary of Rhonda Lynn Aubin
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rhonda Lynn Aubin, born in Fredericton on Jan 13, 1964. She died peacefully in her sleep at her residence on September 24, 2024. She was a daughter of the late Fernand “Vernon” and Velma (Cameron) Aubin.
Rhonda was a generous friend, known by everyone who met her as a funny and kind woman. She was a staunch LGBTQ2S+ advocate and was proud to be an out and open lesbian. Rhonda loved all animals, and we take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her dogs Maggie-Mae and most recently Simon, who was her faithful companion of the last 10 years, that she loved best.
Rhonda leaves behind her siblings, Florence Littlefield, Esther Kingston (Kenneth), Gary Raeburn, Jeff Aubin, Judy Bartlett; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Brenda Trainor, Rodney Raeburn, Harriot Aubin and Velma Aubin.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). With visitation on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Donations in memory of Rhonda may be made to Fresh Start or Red Head Strays.
