Obituary of Russell Wayne Lawton
With heavy hearts, the family of Russell Wayne Lawton announces his passing on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born April 28, 1958, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Russell William and Doreen Mae (Judge) Lawton. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed spending his time off gardening.
Russell is survived by his sisters: Marilyn Cox (the late Peter Cox) of Grand Bay-Westfield and Gail Lowe (John) of Red Head; nieces and nephews: Peter, Lydia, Bernadette, John, Dougie, and Jill; as well as several great-nieces and nephews.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424), where family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held in Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 11 am, with interment to follow in Fernhill Cemetery.
For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
