Sabrina and Ralph, I am so sorry to hear about Sue Ann’s passing and hope that you and other family and close friends will manage this loss. Sue Ann, my cousin, was a generous and positive minded friend with a lovely sense of humour and a kind heart. She, along with Cousin Vicki, was a playmate in our childhood, always fun, eager for some sort of adventure, and always ready with giggles. As an adult, she always found time to keep me informed of the wider family news and to chat about the goings on of her immediate friends and family. I will miss our conversations and her presence. She definitely lived a life worth celebrating! All the best to you, your cousin Jan in BC.

Ralph, Sabrina and family, Billy Ray and I are heartbroken to hear of Sue's untimely passing! It was the 99s Inc. where I met Sue many moons ago (about 40 years!). We partied together (sometimes with Ralph too!), we worked on many 99s events together - changing places between us of who was the boss and who the assistant, but thoroughly enjoying the work together. The many funny moments , and tear-out-your hair times. It has been several years since we actually saw each other face-to-face (her in St. John and we in south Texas), but Sue and I would have regular telephone chats to catch up on all things - which always included lots of hearty laughs. Many, many wonderful memories of Sue and her always beautiful, warm and exuberant personality. She would light up any room she entered. Ralph and Sabrina - hold each other tight and know that many people are wishing you the very best at this trying time. Much love, Joy and Billy Ray Blackwood

To Ralph, Sabrina, and all of Sue's sister Ninety-Nines, I am so shocked, saddened, and sorry for our loss. Sue and I roomed together at the international conventions, East Canada Section meetings, and most recently at the 90th anniversary of Amelia Earhart's transatlantic crossing beginning at Harbour Grace NL. Sue herself said it best, that "the friends I have made are the best part of flying". So true. And friendships, like love, are forever.

Ralph and Sabrina, Sue was such a wonderful support as together we ‘reactivated’ The 99s Atlantic Chapter. She freely shared her knowledge of 99s activities, many of which she led. Our efforts over several months culminated in receiving the Chapter Charter from governor Kim Winsor during the section meeting in Harbour Grace, NL.(Sue is in the second row, right of centre in the photo). Sue aLeo arranged a generous donation - see money to support chapter activities. Her love of family and community was so evident; she will be sorely missed.

Sabrina and Ralph, I was shocked and saddened to learn of Sue's untimely passing. It was wonderful seeing her at 99s events and also to meet up when she would come to Ottawa annually. She was a wonderful organizer and supporter when we hosted the 99s International Conference in Ottawa in 2016. But mostly I just loved her warm personality, smile, and sense of humour. She will be sadly missed. My condolences to you and all of her family and friends.

We are so sad to hear that Sue has passed. Sue was a bright light to us whenever we saw her and we always enjoyed our chats, she would enter the office with a bright smile that was expressed all the way through her eyes and bright hairstyle and instantly bring a smile to us. As a dedicated volunteer, she was passionate about helping others and touched many lives. We will miss her greatly and send our condolences to her family.

I always loved it when Sue would come into the salon for her little pops of haircolor and she would say pick whatever color you want! When styling her hair it always had to be curled because that's how her mom liked her hair. She would always have a story or two to share during her visit and she so loved her scalp massage❤️. We will miss seeing her beautiful smile and her caring soul. Much condolences to the family.

My sympathies to Ralph, Sabrina and relatives.
Sue was a great organizer, did lots of volunteer work. I will miss her messages , which always ended with the cheerful aeronautical salutation, “ tailwinds”
In spite of her illness in recent months, she was always cheerful and welcoming. When Sheila and I were in the midst of dealing with the big flood in 2018,Sue and Ralph arrived with a big plate of sandwiches and goodies which was much appreciated.she will be missed, but always remembered.
Love from Phil and Sheila
