Obituary of Donna Marie Silliphant

It is with great sadness that the family of Donna Marie Silliphant announces her passing which occurred from The Loch Lomond Villa on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Born in Saint John, NB, on May 15, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Mary (Leger) Silliphant.

Donna worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Hospital (DVA) on the West Side and the Saint John Regional Hospital before retirement.

Donna leaves behind her son, Sean; sister-in-law, Judy; nephew, Mark; niece, Christine (Trevor). In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Wayne.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). With visitation on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM with a reception to follow and Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM. Donations in memory of Donna may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Society.
