Obituary of Heather Ann Arsenault
With heavy hearts, the family of Heather Ann Arsenault announce her passing on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Bobby’s Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. Born October 24, 1972, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Sharron (Gray) MacKinnon. Along with her parents Heather was pre-deceased by Grandparents William and Henrietta Gray, Uncle and Aunt Rodney and Margaret Gray; and brother, Kirk MacKinnon.
Heather is survived by her husband, Terry Arsenault; along with her previous husband, Daniel Martin; son, Zachery Martin (Laura); grandson, Aiden; her uncles: Stuart Gray and Darren Gray (Roxanne); aunts: Kim Lavine (Stephen), Angela MacDonald (John), Laurie Bennett (Jeff), and Lainie MacWilliams (Derek); Meg Diamond and Josh Bennett, as well as several other cousins.
Heather loved spending time with her cat, Sylvester, and going for long jeep rides in the woods. She also loved to colour while watching her favourite show, Scooby-Doo. Family and friends were everything to her, especially her precious grandson, who she loved to play and spend time with.
We ask everyone to wear purple, as it was her favourite colour, to both visitation and funeral.
We also want to thank every nurse she had in her month stay at Bobby’s Hospice- the care you gave her was beyond exceptional.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424), where visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 2 pm from Brenan’s Chapel. For those who wish, remembrances to Bobby’s Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
