Very sorry to hear of your loss. Dr. Mockler was such a wonderful Dr. to all of us. My husband, Gus, and two small sons, in Grand Bay, and later Saint John. He delivered our first daughter, and we called her Marilyn. We lived in Ingleside before we moved to Calgary, fifty years ago. So thankful for a sweet, caring Doctor. God bless you all.
Gus, Merien, Jeff, Andrew, Marilyn and later Pam..

Our deepest condolences to the Mockler family, they are a beautiful family and we enjoyed the privilege of being their neighbours for many years. We knew them well as Don was our ring bearer when we got married.
We often speak of you and the great times in Westfield.
Be well

I am so sorry to hear of Gord's passing. I am one of the four who made the infamous trip to Boston in 1959 to see a double header between Boston and the Yankees. I visited about 4 years ago and we re-lived the experience. I talked to him by phone last summer and he wasn't well enough for a visit but we said we would do it the next time I am down. I will miss seeing him.
All the best to the family.

We were sorry to hear the sad news of Gordie's death.
We enjoyed the company of first Lynda at Acadia and then of both Lynda and Gordie at Dalhousie. We went with them to Saint John during the internship years where we enjoyed their company and especially playing bridge together.
Our memory is that Gordie considerably added to the espirit-de-corps of the interns at the Saint John General Hospital. In spite of spending the years after leaving Saint John a long way apart (in miles) we kept in touch via the Missing Link and class emails.
Gordie's humor and light-heartedness will be sorely missed—more especially by his dear wife Lynda.

I have known Gordie for over 50 years --we played all together , hockey, hunted, fished, & told stories !!
He was a great guy --a fine Doc, & a valued friend . There is not enough room for me to relate all the stories & wonderful
times we shared.I will them with me --until we meet again.
I know he is fishing with my brother Ron & other great Friend Sean Keyes at "Mistake Lake" with Art Chesley !!

Lynda Charlene and I send our condolences. Gord was one of the most positive and enjoyable person I have encountered during.my life time. We had the opportunity as a lawyer and physcian to also consult on various medical legal matters. His eclectic interests later in.life as a visual artist painter gave him great satisfaction as he often expressed to Charlene and I.
