We are deeply saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. Our sincere condolences Debbie and family . Bob worked with Ken at Jack Fraser’s and then at Wacky Wheatley’s in Nova Scotia in the 80’s and early 90’s. I have many happy memories of Bob . He was a kind and thoughtful man. He loved his wife and his family deeply always speaking about them lovingly and with respect especially you Debbie. I always think of Bob when I hear Norah Jones . He was crazy about her music and suggested I listen to one of her cd’s . She was immediately a favourite of mine too . He was a wise man in so many ways . Again, I am so sad to hear that he has left us soon.
Ken recalls fondly how warm and welcoming you and Bob were and how grateful he was to you both when he transferred to NB in 1987 inviting him into your home . Such good people !
God bless and keep you especially now.
Ken and Maria Nason

My sincere condolences. I first worked with Bob in the mid 90’s at TD and then for many years at MD. Whenever we got together we talked sports and of course both of us being avid Boston fans those conversations lasted a long time. I am so sorry to hear the news.

Bob was an invaluable friend and colleague. I looked forward to friendly banter and serious advice every year and sometimes more. He was the face of an organization that kept me loyal and guided my family safely. Bob was both discrete and respectful of all of his many loyal customers. Though he was professional in his protection of personal details of his family, he emulated a happy, honest and caring husband and father. I will miss him. Many of us will remain thankful for his wise help and direction these past three decades. Thanks Bob

Debbie, Nicole and Andrew. I was so saddened and shocked to hear of Bob's passing. Please accept my most sincere condolences. I will not forget my trips to the Saint John MD office to meet clients with Bob. He had a wonderful professional way about him. Clients so appreciated his talents and his infectious smile. The highlight of the trips, however, was supper at the end of each day. There is no doubt that Bob enjoyed an ale or two and I was indeed privileged to have been able to spend these times with him. He will be missed by so many. God bless. You are in my prayers.

My memories of Bob will always be positive and I cannot even imagine the large space in his loving family. I spent many a day with Bob in the Saint John MD office enjoying his dry humour and constant sports related conversations. We would start off with great intentions on investments but it always ended in sports. So much love and laughter he had with our clients. His family was always #1 and Bob talked so proudly of Debbie and the kids! I only hope you know how much you are loved. Bob: if you read this in heaven: HABs rule! Find my Dad Sam and give him a hug for me. Bless you.

Dear Debbie ,Andrew and Nicole,
Over the past 40 years, Bob quickly went from being a work colleague to becoming a very close and dear friend. Although our career paths later turned us in different directions and we ended up in different provinces, we always looked forward to getting together anytime either of us traveled to the other's home town.
Yes, his knowledge of all sports teams (especially those based in New England) was extensive and seldom matched by those who would challenge him. As for playing sports – well – that’s where he and I would always have our comical disagreements. Whether it was playing golf, table tennis, pool or pickleball, neither of us would ever concede to being the weaker of the two. Truth is, I could never bring myself to admitting that he was the better pool player.
He was definitely taken away far too soon and I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts during this difficult time.
