Obituary of Burnis Ann Darrah
It is with heavy hearts and appreciation for a lifetime of memories that the family of Burnis Ann Darrah announces her passing, which occurred on Saturday, May 30, 2020 in the comfort of her home. Born in Saint John on February 1, 1936, she was the only child of the late Leo and Pauline (Breen) Lombard.
Burnis will be missed by her children: Lynn Manley (Michael), Lorna Leese (Jeremy), Leo Darrah and Sharon Sidney (Charles); her beloved grandchildren Alison Manley (Brett), Colin Leese (Megan), Jason Manley, Adam Archer, Charlotte Leese (Trevor), Nathan Manley, Geoffrey Archer and David Darrah; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Burnis was predeceased by her husband Gerald Darrah in April 9th, 2006.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Due to the current public health restrictions Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
