To Barry and to all the family---Jack and I send you our heartfelt condolences.
We only met face-to-face once--over her beloved grey rescues--but our correspondence quickly built the kind of friendship one is seldom fortunate to find.
The world will miss this very wonderful person---we are thankful for our time with her--even at a distance.

So sad and sorry to hear of Cherri"s passing. My heart goes out to you Barry, and all of the family. She truly loved her family and animals. Cherri and I met at the coop in the 90 s and became fast friends. We could and did talk about anything and everything. We had some laughs and a few tears. I will miss that .She wanted to be private about her cancer but always maintained a strong and positive outlook which I admired. She did beautiful quilt work and gifted me with one years ago. It is in my entryway and a lovely reminder of our friendship. RIP

It was with shock then sadness hearing of Cherri’s passing. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Barry, Stephen and his family , and Jennifer and her family . My mind has been playing the memories of our meeting as neighbours when we were teenagers on Cedar Street , then apartment across the hall neighbours on Reading Crescent in the late 70’s , both raising young families. How we joined Weight Watchers together, sometimes doing our meal planning & sharing . Summer barbecues at the camp at Ragged Point. Then , we bought a house. Cherri was part of the crew that helped me move and spent the first night as Paul was away. We kind of drifted apart for years until I’d see her at the Co Op checkout for a quick catch up. Then Covid hit and we reconnected on fb, keeping in touch back and forth pretty regularly we would speak of our kids and grandchildren… and so much more.
Rest In Peace my friend till we meet again.
