Obituary of Cherri Lynn Belyea

It is with broken hearts that the family of Cherri Belyea, beloved wife of Barry Belyea, announces her passing on March 25, 2022. Born in Saint John on November 6, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Trevor and Peggy.

Cherri was a longtime animal lover, who was very involved with the rescued greyhound community. She achieved her lifelong dream of visiting Australia three times, creating several lasting friendships. She always looked forward to her weekly bingo nights, and spending time with friends.

Cherri will be missed beyond words by her husband Barry, with whom she recently celebrated 50 years of marriage; her children: Stephen Belyea and Jennifer Lynn Ashe-Belyea (Jeff); as well as her grandchildren: Cameron, Lauren, Kennedy, Ethan, and Peyton. 

Besides her parents, Cherri was predeceased by her sister Carol.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
