Obituary of Ruthe Elizabeth Brewer

The death of (Ruthe) Elizabeth Brewer occurred on August 3, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a period of failing health.

Born on June 4, 1952, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Maxwell and Ruthe (Grant) Bolser.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters Ann, Beth, and Rachel.  Also surviving is cousin and childhood friend Ron Grant, as well as several Bolser cousins.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, New Brunswick, with visitation on Friday, August 5, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, from Brenan’s Chapel at 10:00 am.  Interment in Fernhill Cemetery will follow.

In lieu of flowers donations in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, or Bee Me Kidz.

The family wishes to acknowledge and thank Dr. Will O’Brien, Dr. Karen Rombaut, Dr. Emily Love, the wonderful nurses, LPNs, and support staff on 4B South and 4C South at the Saint John Regional Hospital, all of whom provided exemplary and compassionate care for Mom.
