My sincerest condolences to Mike and the Crowley family. I have known Stewie for many years since the days of being around businesses operated by Murray and Dobie Whittaker. When I would leave Stewie during these times, I always left feeling much better each and every time. May you Rest in Eternal Peace Stewie for having made all the lives you touched much better simply by knowing you and your wonderful spirit.

From the Board of Directors, Management, and Staff of Rocmaura Nursing Home, we send along our heartfelt condolences. We hope that wonderful memories help bring comfort. I met Stew personally and we talked about his Special Olympics achievements. It was lovely to get to know him, see his medals, and he will certainly be missed. Thank you also for your kind words about the care at Rocmaura.

Our condolences to you and your families Mike and Ian. Stewie was a very special person for all of us growing up at St. Pius X. His smile was infectious and his heart was pure. I sat beside him at church a few years back and he told me he was retired now and he still missed many of his activities. You could not think of Stewie without it making you smile and feel better inside. He will be missed and remembered by all those that knew him.

The video was such a great tribute to Stewies life. I knew him from the St Pius dances when I was in Junior High. We both walked
To dance and sometimes would run into each other while we were walking. Then we would walk to dance together. He was a
Great guy. So sorry to hear of his passing.

I have known Stewie since I was 10 years old . He was on Phillips Court and me on Wigmore Court. We attended St. Pius x all our lives. He was a guy you never forget. Always smiling and very friendly. My wife tells me I need to earn my seat in heaven but Stewie had a seat all reserved for him. Always remember his last breath on this earth is his first breath in heaven. I will always keep him in my prayers. Terry Parker 45 Wigmore Court

To Stewart brothers, sister in law's nieces & nephews I first encounter Stewart during the years we were both in the reactment of In Memory of Jesus and in church at St.Pius . He was always there to give a hug and ask how is my girlfriend doing? In the the later years I left St. Pius and went back to my old parish but whenever I ran into Stewart it was always a hug and how's my girl. Well my friend you have left us but you will never be forgotten as you were the best Scribe in the In The Memory of Jesus. You were indeed a true gentleman.Rest Easy my friend. Jannette Jarvis

Very sorry to hear of Stewie's passing. I grew up only 4 houses away from Stewie on Park Street Extension. Can still see him walking down the street and talking to everyone. He was known and thought highly of by all who lived in the area. Always happy and singing a song, he was just a good guy. The world was a better place with Stewie in it. RIP Stewie. Peter Kelly

To Stewie's family:
These words can easily summarize the man you are honoring with his Mass of Christian Burial at this beloved St. Pius X Church....."well done, good and faithful servant, inherit the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world!"
I can attest that Stewie was such a faithful Altar Server during my tenure as Pastor of St. Pius. I could always depend on him at the 9:00 am Mass, and the Saturday evening Mass, as he and his fellow server John Perry, executed this ministry such care and devotion.
May Stewie rest in eternal peace.
Blessings to each of you. I will offer a Mass for the repose of his soul at the Cathedral.
Fr. Doug

Being a “ Man about town “ as he travelled everywhere and anywhere as a teen and young man , Stewart once won 10 “45’s”, probably from Dave LaFave or Rockin Robert of CHSJ Radio fame . I remember being envious of Stewie as one of those records was The Trashmen doing “ The Bird Song “ Hangin around Ian and Mike brought us neighbours into daily contact with Stewie and we are all better for that !! RIP Stewart
