Amanda, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your Dad. I have a lot of good memories of Jim. I remember him and your Mom would visit my Mum & Dad often and there was one time he brought his harmonica and entertained us for the afternoon. I also enjoyed all his stories of when he was a young man, how he loved fast cars and drove like a wild man! No doubt all his shenanigans and antics of how he drove in his younger years would have made him an awesome nascar driver! The thing I appreciate the most about him was his steadfast dedication to his Saviour and how he never wavered in his faith! You were a blessing to both of your parents since the first day they laid eyes on you. They were always so proud of you and for good reason. You took very special care of both of them and met all their needs until they passed into their eternal rest!. Well done my dear cousin!

You will miss him greatly, Amanda. Now he can sleep in peace until Jesus comes. Then he will have a new and better body, a clear mind and all the blessings in store for him in Heaven. God is so good to those who believe in His Son Jesus Christ.

Amanda and family,
We were saddened to read the obituary for Jim. We recall how he and Vivian would attend worship at the Grand Bay Baptist Church from time to time. Jim demonstrated perseverance in the face of life's challenges. We recall how Jim was willing to talk about his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and to talk about what was in the Bible. We are grateful for the words of the Lord Jesus, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me though he die yet shall he live." John 11:25 We are remembering you in prayer.
