Obituary of Ved Prakash Gupta

Mr. Ved Gupta (1938-2023) was a devoted husband to Hem Gupta, loving father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, Uncle, and friend who will be cherished, celebrated, and missed dearly. His journey started in Shengaon, India and flourished in Canada.  He was a civil engineer at CN Rail and received a masters from McGill University.

He loved to share his knowledge and love of teaching. His kindness, generosity, and curiosity for life, love of travel, passion for mathematics, and expert cooking skills will be remembered fondly with an abundance of love by everyone in his life.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) where a Service will take place on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation, 400 University Ave, Saint John, NB, E2L 4L2, Canada.
