Our condolence to you Dale and family on losing your mother to the Lord. Her and I had a good talk at my sister's visitation. She was a special lady who showed our family that she cared. Beverly and I were saddened to read the obituary for Verna. Through the years our paths crossed and we shared family history, support of Camp Tulakadik, as well as faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. We are grateful that Verna was following our Lord Jesus. We are grateful for her love for her family and the way she touched your lives. We are also grateful for the words of our Lord Jesus, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me though they die, yet shall they live." Dear Dale, Leah and family, We will miss Verna! Really hard to believe she is no longer with us, she was a member at Tab for 74yrs. Not sure what heaven will be like but it will be far better than our minds can imagine. If they have movers and shakers up there Verna will be keeping them all in line. I wish to convey my sympathy to the family on the passing of Verna. I became acquainted with Verna while serving as treasurer with the Baptist Convention. Verna was a long-serving member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and was treasurer for many years. We had many conversations over the years and she had a keen mind to apply herself to her responsibilities as treasurer. When it came to computers and technology she was a fast learner and determined to overcome any obstacles she might encounter. She was a dear saint and will be greatly missed. God Bless!

I am shocked she just called and told me she broke her hip, I visited her quite a bit neither one of us knew how we met, she called the otherday and said there was a lot of Covid on her floor to call and make sure there was still visiting was allowed…I am totally shocked, I really liked her…our conversations d with the history info was great, she was a very smart women..so sorry to her family
