i met Doreen at the SJRH. I was a volunteer at the hospital and became friends with the switchboard operators, Doreen always had a smile and a great personality ..She spoke well of her son Cory. i was saddened when hearing of her passing. My condolences to the family. .

I first met Doreen at the train station when I was a teen when my dad worked there, she was so friendly and always pleasant , Over the year when ever I saw here she always remembered me . Sending condolences to her family members my she RIP.

Sorry to read of Doreen's passing. I remember both she and Ann Ricker on switchboard both at West Side Community Hospital (SJRH WEST DIVISION) and at SJRH. I worked with IV Resource team and both Doreen and Ann would dispatch the calls from the Nursing Units to us. Always pleasant and friendly to us, especially if we called and asked them to repeat the calls for us. I also recall meeting Doreen outside of the hospital environment and she always remembered me. Will always remember her beautiful smile .

So sorry to hear about Doreen. She and and my mom (Ann Reicker) worked together for many years on the switchboard at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Mom always talked highly of Doreen. She was always so pleasant. My mom now has dementia, but I will show her Doreen's obituary. Karen (Reicker) Cookson and Ann and John Reicker.
